Narrative Assessment 18 Feb 2016

Learning Observed
In iExperience today we did some movement and dancing. I had the privilege of sharing this with Simeon as he is also in me iExplore group, exploring dance. Simeon was very engaged and enthused. Not only did he give his dancing heaps of energy and feeling, but he also encouraged others to join in and was singing a long with the music. Simeon got up in front of his peers and helped the learning coach teach the rest of the learners some of the dances.

Simeon shared his exploration of dance and movement with his peers in iExperience. Can he learn some new dances to teach us?
Key Competencies/Vision Principles
Simeon is developing his Capabilities in iExperience (dance). He was enthused and motivated to take part and was able to encourage others to join in (Participating and Contributing). Simeon was teaching his peers the dances he had learnt in iExplore (Thinking).
Next Learning Steps
  • Learn new dances to teach his peers and continue to encourage them to join in.
  • Begin creating his own movement sequences.
  • Share this learning with home.
